The St. Gemma Foundation is a Catholic apostolate committed to fostering a deeper devotion to St. Gemma Galgani, one of the Church’s most radiant mystics and a powerful intercessor in our time. Inspired by her extraordinary life of suffering, love, and union with Christ, we seek to make her witness better known throughout the world and to encourage the faithful to draw nearer to God through her example.

Our mission centers on three pillars: devotion, education, and preservation. We promote reflection on the profound mysteries of St. Gemma’s life—her reception of the stigmata, her mystical experiences, and her unwavering faith amid suffering. Through prayer gatherings, retreats, pilgrimages, and catechetical resources, we help individuals and communities grow in holiness by learning from her humble obedience, spiritual purity, and passionate love for the Crucified Lord.

In close collaboration with the Passionist Nuns and the Sisters of St. Gemma, we support religious vocations that carry forward the spiritual legacy of St. Gemma’s charism. We also work to preserve and maintain sacred sites connected with her life, including her home in Lucca, Italy, and other locations of historical and spiritual significance. These places are not only treasured remnants of her earthly journey but vital sources of grace and inspiration for future generations.
